Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Naturally radiant. Visibly renewed. Expertly tailored.

At Upper Skin Clinic, our complimentary PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) consultations are important. They allow the time and space for an informative assessment in exploring the potential of  harnessing your body’s own regenerative power. This minimally invasive treatment uses concentrated platelets from your own blood to revitalise the skin, enhance texture, and promote a brighter, healthier complexion, suitable for both men and women.

Delivered by experienced medical professionals in a caring and clinical setting, each treatment is carefully customised to support your unique skin goals, whether you’re looking to soften fine lines, improve overall skin quality, or stimulate natural collagen production for lasting results.

What Does PRP Treat?

PRP may support a range of concerns, including:
• Skin quality and texture – Assists with hydration and skin firmness
• Fine lines and wrinkles – Helps promote smoother-looking skin
• Mild pigmentation and acne scarring – Supports an even skin tone
• Under-eye rejuvenation – Assists in reducing the appearance of tired eyes
• Hair thinning – Encourages scalp and hair follicle health in suitable clients

Is PRP Right For You?

PRP may be right for you if you’re looking for a natural, regenerative treatment to improve skin texture, firmness, and radiance, or to support early hair loss. It’s suitable for most skin types and ages, especially those seeking a minimally invasive option for skin rejuvenation or hair restoration. A consultation with our experienced team at Upper Skin Clinic will help determine if PRP is the right choice for your goals.

How Does PRP Work?

PRP involves collecting a small sample of your blood, which is then processed in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma. This concentrated plasma is rich in growth factors that are naturally found in your blood. Once prepared, the PRP is carefully injected into targeted areas of the skin or scalp by our experienced team to support collagen stimulation, skin regeneration, or hair follicle activity.

Benefits Of PRP:

Stimulates natural collagen production for firmer, more elastic skin
Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, and visible signs of ageing
• Enhances skin texture, tone, and radiance
• Minimises acne scars, pigmentation, and surface irregularities
• Promotes healthy hair growth and strengthens thinning hair
Softens signs of ageing around the eyes, mouth, and forehead
PRP is a non-surgical, minimally invasive treatment that supports your body’s natural healing process

What Results Can I Expect?

PRP gives your skin or scalp a natural, regenerative boost using your body’s own healing properties. It’s a non-surgical treatment that revitalises skin texture and tone, softens wrinkles, and promotes hair growth, without introducing foreign substances. Ideal for clients wanting to improve skin quality or stimulate hair regrowth safely and effectively.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

Most clients benefit from a series of 3 PRP treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, with visible improvements building gradually after each session. For optimal maintenance, follow-up treatments every 6 to 12 months are recommended, depending on your skin or hair goals. Your dermal clinician or registered nurse will tailor a plan to suit your individual needs and desired outcomes.
